19-22.6.2023, I travelled to Tampere, Finland.
Since I will be living in Tampere from Jan. 2024, I wanted to see the city and meet my Finnish friends to feel the vibe of the town.
Regarding accommodation, I like to stay in either Airbnb or a hostel because I can interact with other travellers quite quickly and get useful information.
This time, my accommodation was Dream Hostel & Hotel Tampere.
The breakfast was vegan-friendly as well so if you are vegan or vegetarian, please stay tuned.
Dream Hostel & Hotel Tampere
To say it short, it was a totally amazing stay except for 2 things I just did not know about this hostel.
1. You should bring the key to lock your belongings.
The picture above is the locker that you can use by paying 8 euro.
A small backpack and one small shoulder bag can fit but no room for a big suitcase.
2. Some offers do cost

A towel costs 3 euro.
If you are travelling from the neighbouring country, I recommend you bring both a key and a towel.
These above 2 things you should be aware of if wishing to stay in this hostel so that your stay is comfortable.
Now, time to move on to the breakfast review.
The Breakfast Review
When you book the accommodation, you SHOULD include the breakfast because the breakfast and the surrounding facility were 100% amazing.
Let's take a look at some pics that I took from the breakfast.
Beverage machine: Water, Orange Juice, Apples Juice and Lingonberry Juice
Lingonberry is very Nordic so you should try it!!!
The Bread: Non-Dairy spreadable, Cow milk butter is available as well as a toaster
Serial & Musli: I can not start a day without eating Musli. 100% AWESOME!!!
If you ask the receptionist, they can offer you some vegan products which you do not see in the kitchen area.
I am a vegetarian so I asked for vegan cheese and also lactose-free yoghurt.
If you do not see the products that they want, please go ahead and ask the receptionist for them; they were super nice.
Boiled Eggs, Cheese, Ham, cucumber, paprika, and some fruits
Including some fresh fruits and meat options, you can pretty much play around for your breakfast to customize your best.
The Facility Review
The common area looks like as above pic.
The shower room is divided by gender but there is no shower gel or such, so please note this point.
Right before you checkout, you need to put all the rental towels and sheets.
The hallway is simple to walk through and all the doors have room numbers and it is very easy to find out your room.
Some books and board games are available.
The Room Review
I and my friend have stayed in a 4 bedroom room.
The bed was comfortable and the pillow was thick and soft enough to sleep well.
There is a supply close to the bed.
Thanks to this comfortable hostel, I could enjoy walking around the city with full power.
If you are visiting Tampere soon, I would like to highly recommend you to stay in this hostel.
