My simple question is "How many hours do you use your smartphone daily?"


If you know how many hours you use your smartphone and if you think you are being able to manage it, then it's not a problem but if you do not know how many hours you use it, then that is a problem I think.


I am not saying that all people should do a digital detox but I am saying that it is at least better to know how you use your time.


Why minimalism and digital detox are related?


Minimalism is to focus on something important to you; it can be clothes, it can be your own business, and it can be your family.


Some may misunderstand that minimalism is to decrease more and make your belongings less and less, but my thought on minimalism is that you focus on something important and as a result, the belongings or quantity of friends decreased.

The reason why digital detox is part of a minimalistic idea is that by doing a digital detox, you can stay away from unnecessary content flooding your timeline, and some ads coming up to your phone

Before doing the digital detox challenge, you may want to know 3 things as written below.

Why do I want to do a digital detox? 


Without a concrete purpose or goal, it is easy to fail in your challenge, so you want to know the reason why you try a digital detox.


It does not have to be something very gigantic goal but at least digital detox will occupy your mind, in a good meaning, for a while so you want to know your own reason why you want to do a digital detox.


How do I do a digital detox?


Second, as mentioned in the earlier paragraph, there are several approaches you can take to do the digital detox.

When do I do a digital detox?


When you do your digital detox challenge, it has to be harmless to your job and family.
