Nya has been offering great quality pastries for almost a century.

Now, I am also one of them policed by their pastries.

The best bakery cafe in Umeå

Nya Konditoriet started its serving in 1927 and this place is famous for preparing the pastries for the Nobel Prize dinner down in Stockholm.

The Swedish traditional pastry "Kanelbulle", Cinamon Roll, is one of their signature pastries, and the taste was extraordinarily delicious.

Sugar on top of the whole cinnamon roll is pretty much Swedish and I see this type of Cinamon Roll quite often in downtown and supermarket.

The stairs that lead you to the second floor are no more than flat since almost 100 years have passed since the visitors started using them.

There are two floors at Nya Konditoriet.

The first floor has some seats to sit down and on the pastry shelf, there are a lot of whole cakes and rolls.

On the second floor, there are much more seats approximately around 50 persons can be hosted at the same time.

The second floor has also some sandwiches so if you want to eat something small, then you want to order on the second floor.

The bread/pastries are freshly baked every day so at any time you come, you will eat freshly baked ones.

I usually do not eat many sweet pastries so I would like to come back again to try different pastries one by one.
