Blogging benefits for business? The 3 upsides of starting your own blog as a business

I have been a professional blogger for a long time and this time I would like to talk about the three upsides of starting your new blog as a business.

Continuing to publish the posts regularly is quite hard but there are upsides to continuing the blog.

If you are considering starting your brand-new blog as your future full-time career, then this article will be something very informative to you.

The 3 upsides of starting your blog as a business

  1. You can establish WEB-marketing expertise
  2. You can work from anywhere you want.
  3. You have more free time

I want to reveal the upsides of blogging so let’s take a look at them one by one.

You can establish WEB-marketing expertise

The first upside of starting a blog as your new business is that you’ll be able to establish web marketing expertise.

Since growing a new blog takes a lot of energy and time, you may want to consider the long-run point of view.

As I have written in the below article, web marketing skill is very efficient in both working as an individual web marketer and having a position in the company related to the web marketing department.

If I had one negative aspect of expertise in marketing, it will be the fact that it will take a lot of time.

To get precise knowledge of web marketing, you need to spend thousands of hours writing blog articles and studying SEO.

You can work from anywhere you want.

The second upside of having a blog website as your full-time profession is that you can work from anywhere you want.

Since the pandemic has made us almost impossible to physically contact others for the time being, most people may have felt a paradigm shift to the new era of working style.

Including the time when I had my own coffee business, I have been working remotely for more than six years now and I think that being able to work from anywhere you want is very important in terms of your quality of life.

If you commute using one hour per day, you spend 20 hours per month just going to your workplace.

In contrast, if you have a fully remote job like a digital marketing consultant or as a freelance blogger, you never have to commute.

I think this will contribute to enhancing the quality of life so that the quality of your performance of your job will be more efficient and great.

You have more free time

If you grow your blog website as your main income resource you’ll have more compared to working in a company.

In the best case, the blog brings you money so you can sometimes have a long vacation and you don’t have to tell to your boss; which is super amazing!

However, I want to highlight that blogging is not for everyone.

10 Reasons Blogging Might Not Be For You

I have written more than 600 articles in my life and I think it is absolutely difficult to keep publishing the blog post for a long time.

If you can manage to keep posting 100 articles in a row, then the difficult time starts from this point because you have invested such a huge amount of time in blogging, and then you don’t want to quit anymore.

I would like to suggest you not start with an easy mindset because if you start without knowing the truth of blogging, you will suffer in a long run.

As a professional blogger I have been rewriting many articles about how to start a blog or how to keep writing a blog post, so if you’re interested in this topic please refer to my other blog post as well.
