Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters coffee beans review!!!

Another great coffee brand from Sweden is now on my "experienced" list.

This time, I got a chance to enjoy the coffee beans from Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

About Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters

Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters has sustainably traded green beans and freshly roasted a wide variety of selections.

What I would like to highlight about them are their wide range of origin and roasting level.

I could not have time to visit Gothenburg from Stockholm but in a near future, I would like to visit their actual shop.

Costa Rica Don Mayo Cold Anaerobic

This one is something very special.

The process called "Cold Anaerobic" is the first time for me to try.

To explain simply, Anaerobic is the process that avoids the air completely when the fermentation process is going.

Since there is no air in the fermentation process, coffee with an anaerobic process tends to have more aroma and a more profound and more complex taste.

Cold Anaerobic Process in this farm is "21-23 in Celsius for 3 days, another 3 days in 18-20 Celsius".

The taste note for Don Mayo is Passionfruit, Caramel, and berry-like sweetness.

When I tasted this cup of coffee, I could feel the fuzzy taste like Coke, which is to express the interesting tidbit in a good way in the coffee industry, and also slight bitterness like crushed berries.

This one was extraordinary.

Rwanda Nyamurinda

The next one I bought is "Rwanda Nyamurinda".

The taste note is "Juicy, Fruty, and Creamy".

The taste that you get from the high temperature is milky taste like a cup of soymilk, and as the temperature goes down, I feel more fruity taste like lime, acid and a complex juicy taste like apple juice.

The coffee from Rwanda tends to taste like Japanese green tea when the temperature goes down, and this one was not an exception.

If you have a chance to test the speciality coffee from Rwanda, I suggest you take time to drink coffee and enjoy the dramatic change of taste.

Colombia Villa Betulia Geisha has blown my mind

The reason why I could buy the coffee beans from Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters is that there is a high-quality food/drink shop in the city library of Umeå.

The one that I bought for the first time was "Colombia Villa Betulia Geisha" and it was only 199SEK which is extremely cheap considering this is Geisha species and the bag is 250g.

The taste note was "Peach, Pineapple, Jasmine".

When it comes to Geisha species, the tea-like flavour is one of the typical and most enjoyable tastes.

Also, compared to Japan, coffee beans' price is so cheap.

I assume that the geographical distance to the African continent is much closer to Sweden than to Japan so the transportation cost may be cheaper than shipping to Japan.

KENYA KERICHO AA

Origin: Kenya

Region: Kericho County, Rift Valley region

Height: 2,000m

Variety: SL28, Ruiru 11, Batian, SL34, Kent

Process: Double Washed

This is the coffee for the people who are looking for "Classic Kenyan Coffee" in good meaning.

This has the taste of candied orange, mellow, and juicy apricot.

The first sip of this coffee was full of orange acid and as the temperature of the coffee drops down, I could feel the sweetness of apricot.

Fully recommended.
