Verve Coffee Roasters Shinjuku Station is one of the must-go coffee shops in Japan

Coffee is my passion.

Coffee is the reason why I live.

Coffee is the reason why I travel.

This time, I went to Verve Coffee Roasters in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

Verve Coffee Roasters Shinjuku Station is one of the must-go coffees shops in Japan

Verve Coffee Roasters started its history in California back in 2007.

2 university classmates in California started the small coffee roaster.

Since the first verve coffee roaster was opened in Santa Cruz California, it has been giving a huge impact by spreading the California lifestyle to the world.

Santa Cruz is said to be the origin of American surfing culture and also the outdoor sports culture.

Santa Cruz is 30 minutes drive from Silicon Valley so Verve Coffee Roasters is highlighted as a coffee brand from California which is deeply related to the tech culture.

I enjoyed staying on the terrace with one of my friends from Belgium living in Japan.

The first shop in Japan was opened in 2016 in Shinjuku.

Since then, Verve Coffee Roasters has been quite popular among coffee geeks in Japan.

Now they have five coffee shops in Japan including the roastery started in 2020 in Kamakura.

Verve Coffee Roasters Shinjuku opening hours is 0700-2200 every day, so it is very convenient for travellers arriving/departing early morning or late at night.

Also, the location is perfect; it is right next to the big bus terminal called "Busta"

You also want to check it out for your smooth trip to Japan.

Double-shot espresso cappuccino! Wakes you up!

What is special about the coffee is that there is no big capital game player related; the size of the business is of course big enough but in terms of capital, it is still a private company.

This led them to be able to produce quality-based coffee from procurement to the brew.

The reason why I recommend Verve Coffee Roasters to all travellers coming to Japan is that there are lots of coffee beverages available at this store.

Some may prefer espresso-based, and someone may prefer a pour-over style.

The options that you see in Verve Coffee Roasters are so rich that you want to come again many times during your stay in Tokyo.

The roasting level is quite wide-raged; from the lightly roasted coffee to the deep and dark roasted coffee.

They also offer deans purchase so if you want to bring the coffee beans back to your accommodation or even if you want to ship it to your friends or family back home, you’ll be very happy to be able to choose from a wide variety of coffee beans freshly roasted in Japan.

By the way, I have been posting blog articles about the coffee shops that I have been to during my travel to many countries and places.
