Writing one blog post every day has completely changed my life.

The power of routine is amazing.

Not this blog but I have a record of publishing blog posts every day for more than a year, and I am posting blog posts almost every day on this blog website.

In the first stage, writing a blog post every single day was really painful because I was not used to producing posts that much, and thinking about the content was exhausting.

However, my strong willpower that I wanted to become a professional independent blogger has been the only motivation that I have been writing blog posts for more than five years.

If you have already published 10, 20, or 30 blog posts, and if you feel kind of exhausted or bored writing blog posts, please read this article.

You will know that you haven’t even reached the breakthrough point.

Dividing into three levels of blogging skills, I would like to give some advice on how you have to think when it comes to blogging as a profession.

For beginners: Focus on Quantity, not quality (-100 posts)

Writing 100 blog posts is your first target to achieve, but if you are a complete beginner this is very tough.

You need to do a lot of research, you need to think deeply, and you need type a lot not talking to anyone for hours.

My advice for beginners is “quantity not quality”.

You may ask me “Hold on a minute. If the content is not informative or good, Who is going to read it?”.

Yes, this is the wrong mindset especially if you want to become an independent professional blogger making money from it.

If you ask me that kind of question, my answer is “Do you know how to publish a good post then?”.

Quality comes only after you achieve a certain quantity, so your first goal is to keep publishing blog posts for continuous three months.

You have to keep publishing posts every single day for 3 months, and when you reach 100 posts, then your mindset has already changed because with the arrogant or sit-back relaxed mindset, you will never be able to achieve writing blog posts every day for 100 days.

One more concrete piece of advice is that when you finish writing your 100th blog post, I suggest you read carefully at your very first blog post; you’ll know that the very first blog post was nothing compared to your latest blog post, and this is how you learn from quantity.

Blogging is easy to start, but easy to quit.

This is why you don’t meet independent professional bloggers often when you go take a walk around your neighborhood.

It is really such an easy thing to start but continuing to publish a blog post until you reach to certain income level is actually hard and partially boring work.

No one tells you what to do. You tell yourself what to do.

If you want to quit, you can always quit blogging because it’s not mandatory.

But when you quit, your effort till today becomes nothing.

If you have promised yourself that you will never ever never quit writing blog posts, then I have another small piece of advice for you.

The reason I have been able to keep posting blog posts is that it’s been one of my morning routines for a long time.

Please refer to the below blog post to know more about the power of the routine.

For intermediate bloggers: Keep publishing (-500 posts)

Blogging is never ending journey; some people may think it’s such an easy job because the bloggers don’t commute, the bloggers don’t have work shifts, and the bloggers don’t have to work with the annoying boss.

This is completely different from reality.

The tip to write 500 blog posts is “Just do it”.

Nothing else, there is no magical way that you can make a shortcut.

Most people quit before they reach publishing 500 blog posts because generally speaking, even after you publish 100 blog posts, your income has not changed drastically.

Hence, it is straightforward to think in the way that “Oh, 100 blog posts are worthless. Until when do I have to do this work?

My answer as a professional blogger is “You write blog posts until you die”.

Reaching 500 articles requires you to post every single day for 16 months continuously.

When you are writing the 501st blog post, you will no longer think about the reason why you have to publish blog posts because at this point, writing blog articles became one of your routines and habits that you do every day.

I have published more than 500 blog posts as far as I count in my life, if you break through the heavy ceiling preventing you to keep publishing a post every day, the so-called devil’s seduction whispering that you don’t have to write blogs, then that’s the point when writing blog posts is truly your habit that you cannot stop doing it.

To be honest, I already got bored writing blog posts several years ago and the reason why I keep doing this is because of two reasons; first, simply writing posts and web marketing is the least painful job that I have ever experienced and I don’t want to let this go, and second, I have no reason to stop writing blog posts as this is my profession now.

Please refer to the below articles to shorten your writing time and maximize the quality of each post.

For advanced bloggers: Think by yourself (501 posts - )

At this point, you will no longer need anyone's advice.

Some may be getting affiliate income and display, and some may be writing blog posts for other companies.

A little tip on the financial side is that having several contracts with different companies for SEO writing helps you so much because the ad income or affiliate income is sometimes not stable and you cannot predict precisely how much you make for the next month.

Based on the statistics you can of course predict a certain amount of income, but you never know what’s going to happen.

That is why I have several contracts going on even though I have a decent amount of income from this blog site.

Publishing a blog post is no longer your problem and financial stability is the next thing you have to deal with.

How to manage your income balance is going to be very important at this stage.

After reading this blog post, you may think “ I can do it, can’t I?”.

If you think so, just give it a try because if you think you are not a blogger type of person, you maybe are.

Of course, there is a characteristic or personality related to the ideal occupation, and I think this is true too for the occupation “blogger”.

Blogging, minimalism and traveling are all of my passions, so until I die I would like to keep publishing blog posts here.

( Maybe not every day but constantly, yes )

Thanks for reading.
