The coffee from Lawson is beyond your expectation. Cheap price & decent quality

Exploring coffee places all around the world is my passion.

It’s just something I cannot forget about all the time.

Let's take a look at the experience of buying a cup of coffee from a convenience store in Japan.

The coffee from Lawson is beyond your expectation

Previously I have explained how amazing the coffee from convenience stores is in Japan.

This time, I got a chance to drink a cup of coffee from Lawson, one of the big three convenience stores in Japan, so I would like to share my experience with you.

Basically cheap and good quality service in Japan is fantastic including cheap price coffee from convenience stores.

The taste is not super-fantastic but still enjoyable considering the price.

The roasting level seems to be medium-roast to slightly dark roast.

How to purchase

How’s the coffee from convenience store especially Lawson is very easy.

First, you want to ask for the menu.

Usually, next to the cashier, there is a menu displayed all the time so what you are going to do is use the beverage you want and pay first at the cashier and all the time gets a cup for the beverage you have chosen.

Then you go to the automated machine to brew the coffee.

Is the useability of a coffee machine at any convenience store usually amazingly simple so it’s just pushing several buttons.

If you need to switch to an English display, then switch to an English display there is always an option for it.

The type of beverages available are...
  • Iced Coffee
  • Hot Coffee
  • Decaf Hot Coffee
  • Decaf Ice Coffee
  • Espresso for affogato (what!?!?!)
  • Macciato ( astonishing... )

It will take a minute or so to brew it, and then you are ready to go

The English display looks like below.

If you have enough time to enjoy your stay in Japan, please give it a try!
