I am building my blog on the service called "Google Blogger".
Although most people build blogs by using WordPress, you need to have a certain level of knowledge about coding and web design so I would not say starting from WordPress is easy.
However, Google blogger is such an amazing service that you can start with if you are a complete beginner.
Google blogger is not just an easy start blogging service, but also you can absolutely monetize your blog with Google blogger.

How to monetize your blog on google blogger is

- Apply for EZOIC
- Participate in an Affiliate program
- Make a contract

1 Apply for Google Adsense
As I have written the article "How to become a blogger and make money in 3 steps in 2023", Google AdSense is an amazing tool to use if your goal is to become a professional blogger.
Of course, there are so many ways to monetize your blog but I think Google AdSense would be the first challenge that you want to tackle.
The system of Google AdSense is very simple; If you pass the examination of Google AdSense, you will get your own HTML ad code. You insert it in your blog and if someone clicks it, you will get paid.
The reason why Google AdSense is the first monetization program that you want to participate in is that not everyone can pass the examination.
If your contents are not informative, not original, or not well organized, you are not able to pass the examination of Google AdSense.

If you cannot pass the examination of Google AdSense, it is unlikely that your blog will grow.
2. Apply for EZOIC

EZOIC is another option to make money from your own blog site.
EZOIC is an American company that provides individual bloggers to display the various type of customised ads.
One thing I really like about EZOIC is that EZOIC pays you both impression and click.
"Payment for Impression" in the web marketing/blogging industry means that if the visitors visit your blog site and scroll down the page passing by the ads displayed in the blog post, then it is considered that you will be paid by displaying the ads to the readers.
This does not happen with Google Adsense, so if you have enough traffic and a reliable source of visitors, you can also consider applying for EZOIC.
The good news is that EZOIC used to have a requirement of a minimum of 10,000 monthly visitors to your website.

3. Participate in Affiliate Program
Participating in affiliate programs will be something amazing to do if you are an independent blogger.
An affiliate program is a program in that you sell somebody else’s products instead of them by writing blog posts or posting YouTube videos.
When you participate in affiliate programs, they usually issue a specific web link that you can copy and paste into your blog articles.
If someone reads your article and buys the product that you introduced in the article, then the affiliate program company will pay you.
Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to improve your writing skill because if the sentence is not convincing even though the product is really good, it is unlikely many people will buy the product through your blog posts.
When you try to create a blog post to introduce a certain product, you’ll feel the difficulty because even for me, after writing more than 500 blog posts, it is still the most exhausting blog creation work ever for me.

4. Make a contract with a company
Last but not least, making a contract with a company is one of the choices to monetize by blogging.
Depending on how you make a contract with a company, you will not make money from your own blog but still, you are making money thanks to the fact that you run a blog site.
For example, a company is looking for a writer who can write blog articles for them, and they are looking for a writer who already has experience of writing online articles.
In this case, you can present yourself to them by showing your own blog posts and saying "Hey, I have already posted more than 100 articles on my own blog.”
If the company reads your blog posts and if they like how you write, then you will get a contract.
This is what I actually do right now; I have several writing contracts with companies all around the world.
I personally think that being a blogger is an amazing job.
You can build a solid skill and experience and still you can choose to be a freelance or an employed worker.
